I have sustained a potentially serious hand injury. The photo isn't doing it justice. What happened was I was trying to enhance my mood by doing a little sashay down the hallway and then I accidentally bashed my hand into a doorframe during an arm flourish.
Dan accused me of not taking the icing seriously enough and also seemed to think dancing in the hallway was dumb.
It was.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I don't believe it's serious, it does contains lovely hues of red and purple.
ReplyDeleteDancing in the hallway is NOT dumb. Tell Dan HE'S dumb.
ReplyDeleteThe hand does not look good. I feel sorry for you. It's such a drag when a sashay with a flourish doesn't work out.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Gina Marie. Dancing is NEVER dumb. Hand flourishes are dumb when you don't have room to do them. Hand injuries are serious .... you know how many bones are in your hand? Lots!
ReplyDeleteI once broke a rib dancing near a sofa with a wooden arm. I tripped on my Organic Chemistry book, which was on the floor, and I fell onto the arm of the sofa. I still think that dancing is a MUST, if the mood prevails. I am almost sure your flourish and sashay were worth it. I might have even been doing both a sashay and a flourish at the time of my injury.

Thanks for the sympathy and encouragement, peeps! The hand is better. The dancing was a good idea. I'm going to keep dancing.
ReplyDeleteI don’t think anyone dances in our hallway. That hand injury looks very painful!
