Still More Blog

Today, my friend Elizabeth and I gave a presentation to the teachers at school. I think we did a pretty good job. I mean, only maybe five or six people were grading papers during our presentation, and no one asked any mean-spirited questions.

Later, I taught Shef how to ride his bike and also made enchiladas.

Mom of the Year, or what?

  1. I hate it when people grade papers when I'm giving a little talk.
But I love to multitask, so I'm not sure how to reconcile these two
    feelings.

I wish I had some enchiladas right now. I'm pretty sure I'm starving to death.

  2. It's just weird to have people NOT interacting with you when you're presenting. I like a little eye contact and supportive nodding from time to time.

THANKs for the votes of confidence, jill and jw. I really thrive on praise and encouragement. It's a flaw, but I'm willing to embrace it.
