They Spin Around And They Cross The Floor

So, something happened to the sophs over spring break. Some of them have gone crazy, some have become sneaky, and most have lost the little sense of decorum they once had. I nearly hit the roof when one of my usual suspects called me “sweetie” yesterday. As in, I said, “Please take out your notebooks,” and he said, “Whatever you say, sweetie.”

If you really do like gin and tonics, we can add that to our freakishly long "Weird Things We Have in Common" list. I think Dad taught me how to mix a G and T sometime during my middle school years...the entire Tholen clan prefers Bombay Sapphire, and we drink them tall with extra lime.

You can see I've abandoned my CDA reading for the day at the mere mention of gin.

Ahhhh gin. Nightly martinis at our house. Bombay Sapphire on a daily basis. Hendrick's when we're feeling special occasion-y. And we don't even have sophs or sixers to deal with. But grown ups are no picnic I'll have to note...

mary & bob, lh's California pals

i'm missing out on this gin and tonic gig, I can see that now.

I'm going to have to do something about that.

rach -- yes, i do really like g&t. my fave drink. i also prefer extra lime, but i have no preference on type of gin. i'm an equal-opportunity swiller.

You need to turn this into something you can profit from. Maybe he can learn to count cards (ala Rainman) and win you millions at the casino. BTW you gin and tonic drinkers are wimps. Try some Jack Daniels and you're in business.

God I posted a comment that hit both of your last two posts. It's like I don't know what I'm doing on a blog. Do you know anyone who can tell me the academic uses of a blog so I can do better at using one?
