We're Living In a Powder Keg and Giving Off Sparks

This has been a roller coaster week so far: sophs cheating, texting, and hijacking my speakers. My Stupid Master's Degree on the rocks and then off again. Shef standing on the coffee table belting out Smash Mouth one minute, and lying on the floor of Bread and Chocolate screaming for another cookie the next.

Luckily, one of the kids told me we have 43 days of school left, and I'm on the verge of being finished with grad school forever; so life could be worse.

Not only do I secretly love Bonnie Tyler, I also love that song. I shouldn't admit these things to you.

I also had Milli Vanilli in my head all day: "girl you know it's...girl you know it's...girl you know it's..."

43 days and counting...

I'm used to Bread and Chocolate being a happy place--sorry to hear it was site of a tantrum.

Loving the 80s song lyrics. Rach, who doesn't love that song? Even the annoying karaoke dj at Elsie's can't fully ruin it.

i was there, but i don't remember any of these songs. weird.

roller coaster weeks can be emotionally draining. Extra cookies for all, I say.

Happy Pinnacle Day.

Wow, I never knew those were the words to that song!!! I always sang it as "We're living in a paradise and na na na na." Followed by "I REALLY NEED YOU TONIGHT" really LOUDLY in order to make up for the fact that I had buchered the line before.

Thanks for the clarification! ;)

I know this great teacher at Tartan who can come in and take care of those Edina snot-nosed idiots for you. Of course, he'd have to get a job there first ...
