Summer Clogs

I have two unfortunate chronic conditions, of which you are well aware. Today, I'm updating you on plantar fasciitis. The prescription Dansko clogs have worked wonders. Unfortunately, I'm not ready to move beyond the clogs. I still need them to prevent foot pain. But for the summer, I didn't think the black patent leather pair would be appropriate. I also didn't think that the wool Haflingers would be appropriate.

So I purchased the neither cute nor cool canvas jobs with rubber bumpers pictured above. I got them for 29 dollars. I'm going to love them, and so will everyone else.

I love them because I own that exact pair of shoes. I also have them in red. I get many compliments on these shoes. I also paid a lot more than 29$ for them a few years ago when they were a new style. One drawback - I sometimes find them hard to put on.
And that's all I know about these fab shoes.

Thanks for this very helpful comment!! When I put them on this morning, I found myself pleased with the look. The red is super cute. At DSW, they didn't have the red in my size. I might check out the orthopedic shoe store where I got my other clogs.

From the balcony of my hotel room overlooking the bay in Villefranche-sur-mer right now I see a stylish woman wearing just those shoes but in a bright pink.
