Just hanging here at the hospital. Things are getting better, it seems like. The swelling has migrated from the cheek area down to the neck area, which the doctor says is because of gravity. The hook my IV up every eight hours to give me a dose of treatment. Everybody seems to think the issue here is staph, which is gross, but which is not fatal.

I do, however, have to be in the hospital to get the IVs. Poor Dan and my mom, who was in town to VISIT us, have been taking up all the slack. I feel like a total load. A total ugly load who hasn't showered.

I'm staying here again tonight, and then god help me, I better get to leave and also to look better. This is getting ridiculous.
