OVER

Today was the last day. Tomorrow, I'm back to work. Of course, I've been there a lot; but tomorrow is the first time I'm required.

Yes, summer is OVER.

Summer is over, and I haven't even thought about a motto for the year! Last year, I thought a lot about it. Remember I settled with Get it Done? I actually did Get it Done, both the school year and the unbelievably long and intense interview process I endured to get this new gig.

I'm excited, you guys! I'm super excited. I'm so excited, I don't even think I need a motto.

Thanks for the support, pals!!

Avery, I'm moving my from old school (v. large suburban public high school where I taught a total of 150 students) to my new school (small independent school where I'll teach a total of 75 middle schoolers).

Oh but, I LOVE mottos. I know I am going against the flow here. But mottos are so you! I will probably get booed off the comment page but I am going to start a brainstorm. Write down dumb ideas so you can be brilliant (only if you want to - no motto might win out - BUT look what last year's motto helped you accomplish?) Better than Ever, (Re) Energized!, Forever Young, Project Learn, or Project Something, Ingenious!, Sunny Day, The Daily Adventure, Present and Accounted For, Present Tense, In the Moment, Let it Shine, Soul Sister, Connected, ok, ok.. where am I going? I have no idea.
